Japan has already installed 4.6 GW of solar power and it has been multiplying the number of houses annually with solar collectors on rooftops. Projects also exist for installation of 500 thousand solar roofs in the European Union and in Holland. Giants of the petroleum such as Shell and British Petroleum have plans to compete for fractions of the market of solar energy.

Solar Energy is a superior solution for electricity in relation to other alternatives. It does not produce noise pollution, it does not need fuel or maintenance, and despite popular belief, it will produce energy even on cloudy days (although at a smaller amount).
